Join the Saline Area Historical Society from noon to 5 p.m., Sunday Oct. 5 at the Rentschler Farm, as it celebrates the Fall Harvest Time at its 20th century farm museum. The afternoon will be chuck full of activities, including lawn games, pumpkin painting, wagon rides, farmhouse tours, live animals, crafters and gift shop. Kiwanis and Lions Club Food Wagons on site, too.
The Rentschler Farm Museum is located at 1265 E. Michigan Ave. near Industrial Drive. One mile east of Downtown Saline.
SPECIFIC ACTIVITIES SCHEDULE:
Noon - Dedication of the Granite Rock with the Bronze Plaque that designates Rentschler as a National Register Farm.
1:00 and 3:30 – Saline Area Players Presents “Twisting with Aesop”, a fun rendition of Aesop tales and songs.
2:00 – Saline Big Band plays all the Old Music we know so well.
All afternoon - Teamwork and Timbers. Traditional community barn raising (miniature) right here at Rentschler Farm. A one-of-a-kind learning experience for youth and the young at heart.
