HEALTH & FITNESS

FITNESS TIP OF THE WEEK: Ice baths after a workout

After a grueling workout, there’s a good chance you’re going to be feeling it (we’re talking sore thighs, tight calves).  Relieve post-fitness aches by submerging your lower body in a cold bath (50-55 degrees) for 10-15 minutes.  You may have to throw some ice cubes in to get the water cold enough.

YOGILATES

This class is a blend of Yoga, Pilates, and fitness conditioning that challenges strength, balance and flexibility.  Participation in this class will also increase stamina, focus the mind and tone the entire body.  Participants will learn the fundamentals of Yoga and Pilates.  Each Yogilates class concludes with deep relaxation.  Busy people love this class because they can enjoy the benefits of Yoga and Pilates at the same time.  All fitness levels are welcome.
