The Saline Area Historical Society Presents Christmas at the Rentschler Farm Dec. 6. 13 and 20, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Rentschler Farm is located at 1265 E Michigan Avenue, Saline near Industrial Drive.
The farmhouse will be decked out with natural things that would have been found on just about any farm in the 1930s. Pleasing sights, sounds, and smells will greet you when you enter the front door. We’ll have a real tree with authentic 1930s ornaments and lights, some of which actually belonged to the Rentschler Family. We expect some crafters to be on hand; they will be demonstrating routine crafts that every housewife did without fail.
Just before visitors go out to browse the Farm Gift Shop, they will be offered hot spiced cider and Christmas cookies. Shop for stocking stuffers, books, and small toys. Many items are “Michigan Made”.
Your admission donation will be used to maintain our museums. Free parking on the farm grounds or nearby shopping center.

Rentschler Farm is owned by the City of Saline and operated with volunteers as a Museum by the Saline Area Historical Society. The Depot Museum will also be open 11:00-3:00.
