A gravel hauler rolled over turning from Pleasant Lake Drive to Saline-Ann Arbor Road Tuesday afternoon, creating a rush-hour mess.
Saline Area Fire Department Chief Craig Hoeft said there were no injuries.
“Every one was OK. But it made a big mess and it happened at the worst possible time,” Hoeft said.
The fire department was dispatched to the scene at 4:24 p.m. after a gravel hauler eastbound on Pleasant Lake Drive failed to navigate a left turn on to northbound Ann Arbor-Saline Road.
The crash and resulting cleanup required lane closures. Saline firefighters cleared the scene shortly before 8 p.m.
