Sheriff Investigates Larceny From Vehicles in Lodi Township

Washtenaw County Sheriff's deputies have a description of a suspect they believe stole items from a car parked at a Lodi Township home.

The car was parked in  driveway on the 300 block of Crestway Court in the Brookview Highlands subdivision.

The incident occurred shortly after 3 a.m., Feb. 21.  The homeowner saw the suspect going through his vehicle and yelled at the suspect, who fled the scene on foot. 

Entry was gained by opening an unlocked car door. An iPhone 6 car charger was taken off the front seat. The suspect is described a 5'7 white or Hispanic male. He wore a brown and white ski coat and dark colored baseball hat. The incident remains under investigation by area deputies. 

A similar incident was reported in the neighborhood. Someone opened an unlocked automobile parked on the 1000 block of Stoneridge and stole change from a cup holder.

  • Join neighborhood watch
