As part of its annual evaluation of Superintendent Scot A. Graden, the Saline Area Schools Board of Education is launching an online survey to solicit feedback from parents and employees.

The survey launches Wednesday, May 25, and participants are being randomly selected. Chosen participants will be notified via email with a personal invitation and survey link. The survey will be open until Friday, June 3.

Survey questions address Mr. Graden’s performance this year in several areas, including community relations, communication, student achievement, leadership, and innovation. Feedback will be included in Mr. Graden’s annual performance evaluation, helping the board understand where the district’s leadership is working well and how it can improve.

The board worked with independent research and communications firm K12 Insight to develop the survey. K12 Insight is administering the survey — sending out the email invitations and automatic reminders to people who have not yet taken the survey — and compiling the results.

All responses are strictly confidential. No one at the district, including Mr. Graden, will be able to connect a participant to his or her answers.

For more information about the survey, contact Karen Delhey at [email protected].
