Olivia Darmos went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and two RBI to help Saline beat Tecumseh.

Saline exploded for eight runs in the fourth inning to erase a 5-2 deficit and defeat host Tecumseh 12-5 Wednesday.

Saline slugged 15 hits off Tecumseh pitching.

Olivia Darmos, Brooke Bauer and Amanda Enners combined for nine hits, seven RBI and six runs.

Emily Baldus settled down after a rocky first two innings and pitched seven innings for the victory. She allowed eight hits and walked none.

Saline was down 5-2 after three innings. Enners led off the fourth with a single and took second on a bunt by Ashley Heren. When the next hitter struck out it looked like the Hornet offense might have to wait for the next inning. But Kelsey Leppert doubled to left to keep the inning alive. Anna-Jo Stuart, Kelsey Alexander, Katherine McCollum, Darmos, Bauer, Enners and then Heren reached base safely to rally for eight runs. Heren, who had three RBI in the game, finished the rally with a double.
