Though staffed by employees who valued their jobs and their community, the Saline Police Department suffers from “brokenness.” That’s one of the findings of a report by a consultant who reviewed operations and offered a series of recommendations for repairing the department.

Mayor Brian Marl today invited all Saline residents to join him for an upcoming coffee hour to hear their questions, concerns, and ideas for moving Saline forward. In keeping with the tradition of our regular coffee hours throughout the year, this will be the first coffee hour event for 2016.

Saline Winterfest To Include Bonfires, Human Sled Races, Movies and More

New activities for the free winter event include a bonfire bash on South Ann Arbor Street, human dog sled races, movies and snow bowling. Saline City Council learned about plans for this year’s event at the Dec. 7 meeting, when council voted 7-0 to approve to Saline Main Street’s request to change its event application with the city.
