Saline said good bye to the Halloween season at the annual Saline Parks and Recreation Pumpkin Roll.
Families brought their old pumpkins to Mill Pond Park Saturday morning for the event, which has been sponsored for nine years by Waste Management. The brought their pumpkins to the top of the hill and then rolled them down the hill.
The pumpkins were taken to the city's compost site.
"We composted an entire truck full of pumpkins. It's always a sight to see," said Sunshine Lambert, Recreation Supervisor for Saline.
