SALINE, Mich., (April 15, 2016) – What is Main Street? What does Main Street do? How can you get involved in building a better downtown and community, make new friends, and learn something new in the process? Join us on May 11th and find out!
Volunteers will be on hand to answer these questions and many more at Saline Main Street’s Information Night. The event will be on May 11th, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at the Saline Historical Society Depot Museum at 402 N. Ann Arbor Street. The public is invited, and snacks and beverages will be available.
In 2012, Saline Main Street was selected into the ‘Select Level’ of the Michigan Main Street program. Saline Main Street is nationally accredited and follows the National Main Street Center’s Four-Point Approach™. Since 1980, the Main Street Program has emerged across the country as a major force in downtown revitalization. The program encourages development through the work of four active, volunteer teams in the areas of design, business development, organization, and promotion.
The mission of Saline Main Street is to enhance the vitality of Downtown Saline as the social, cultural, economic and historic heart of our community.
