A Saline resident, and a nationally recognized, award-winning artist who works in both pastel and oil. Jill LOVES to paint our local surroundings. Over the years she has created hundreds of studio and plein air paintings depicting our downtown and nearby farmlands. Wagner’s primary focus is always “the light” and how it affects the scene she is trying to capture. She approaches her paintings as a sculptor would, carving out nuances of highlight and shadow.

Tom Rosenbaum Art Reception

Friday, January 29, 2016 - 7:00pm
Location:
Two Twelve Arts Center

This work represents an exploration into abstract design, realism and impressionism using various mediums and collage materials.  In the spirit of the gallery as a place to gather, learn and experience art, I have incorporated a collection of recent, and some not so recent, work into a retrospective of my life as a painter.  The work is the result of years of study in  color, value and composition.  The exhibit explores landscape, portrait, still life and nonrepresentational works.
