The Saline girls track and field team finished third at Friday’s regional meet at Saline High School.
Saline High School hosted one of the biggest track meets in the state May 6. More than 3300 athletes from 58 schools participated in the Golden Triangle.

While Saline sophomore Jessi Larson blazed through the course at Michigan Internation Speedway, six seniors, including former all-state runners Hannah Cummings and Gillian Walter, ran their final cross country race as Lady Hornets.
Jessi Larson ran one of the best races in her life and all seven Lady Hornets won all-region honors as Saline won its 14th straight regional championship Saturday at Lake Erie Metropark.
