Jeffrey Scott Greaves, who pleaded guilty to one count of possession of an unregistered firearm months after the ATF raided his Macon Road home March 19, is scheduled to be sentenced Tuesday. United States Attorney Barbara McQuade is requesting a sentence within the guideline range of 18 to 24 months. Greaves’ attorney suggests a non-jail sentence, such as electric monitoring and community service, would be sufficient.
In addition to farming, the Mulberry Hill Agrarian Cooperative hosted a couple of weekend gatherings per year. Their largest, the spring gathering called “MettaMorphosis,” drew in over 150 people. These gatherings drew the attention and the ire of some neighbors in the township.
