No students were injured in a Saline Area Schools bus crash on Woodland Drive Tuesday morning.
At about 7:37 a.m., a school bus carrying 21 students was traveling on Woodland Drive near Maple Road when it was struck head on by a 2005 four-door Toyota driven by a 17-year-old Saline male.
According to Saline Police Detective Don Lupi, the driver of the Toyota was negotiating a curve when he hit an ice patch, lost control and crashed into the bus.
The driver complained of minor injuries but declined treatment, according to Lupi.
Lupi said the accident report did not include the speed of the Toyota.
"But if he lost control, he was driving too fast for road conditions," Lupi said.
