Running what is traditionally an early season clash of the Michigan cross country titans, the Saline Hornets   showed they are one of the state’s top teams.

Andrew Kitto (4th, 16:25), Grant Praschan (5th, 16:28) and Dylan Jennings (7th, 16:36) had top 10 finishes to pace Saline to a second place finish at the Bret Clements Invite in Bath.

Saline finished with 55 points, 22 behind the winners from Rockford and 16 ahead of the third-placers from Northville.

Kevin Hall (15th, 17:07) and John Dotsen (24th, 17:22) also finished in Saline’s top five.
