The Annual Saline Winterfest wouldn’t be complete without activities for our little ones. Winterfest will be held on Friday, January 22nd and Saturday, January 23rd. Hosted by Saline Main Street, this community event includes activities for all ages.

Bring the kids and have a ball! Kid-friendly activities will be scattered throughout Downtown Saline. These events will be held on both days! Kicking off the event on Friday evening, South Ann Arbor St. will be closed for the Friday Night Street Party! The kids can enjoy our live DJ and participate in our Creative Hat Contest at 7:30pm.

Bounce House & Inflatable Obstacle Course

11 am – 3 pm at Workout1.  Take a bounce in an indoor bounce house or run through an indoor inflatable obstacle course. Saline Rec Center Bounce House Hosted by Saline Main Street.

Make & Take Crafts

10 am – 3 pm – St. Paul’s UCC. Multiple craft projects will be available. kids crafting area, from 10am until 3pm (or until all crafts are gone).  This is perfect for 4 years old and up, but some kids can do crafts at 3 years old with help from adults.

FUN Room

10 am – 3 pm at St. Paul UCC. Little ones coloring books and crayons.

Pizza Making ($)

10 am – 3 pm at Benitos Pizza. Have your child be the chef and create their own pizza. There will be a small fee to cover materials.

Family Play Area

10 am – 3 pm at Saline First Presbyterian Church. Puzzles, Toys, Lego, etc.

Rain Maker Coloring Design 

10 am – 3 pm at Carrigan Cafe. 

Hot Cocoa, Pretzels ($)

10 am – 3 pm at St. Paul’s UCC. One Voice Gospel Choir will be selling Hot Chocolate and pretzels in the entrance (off of parking lot) from 10 until 3 (or until everything is gone). 

Puzzle Competition

1:00 pm – First Presbyterian Church of Saline – It may be very cold outside and you might need a warm, inviting environment that also provides some hot chocolate and cookies. Do not worry! For all you jigsaw puzzle enthusiasts there will be a contest, consisting of four teams with four players each. Each team MUST have one member who is under the age of 18. You will be given two hours to complete a 500 piece Ravensburger puzzle.  FREE to Enter… INFO

All New Shooting Gallery

10 am – 3 pm at New Era Chiropractic. Take your best shots at these targets. Improved on last year’s Shooting Gallery.

Trade Tokens for Prizes

10 am – 3 pm at Saline Main Street Office. When you do a activity from 10am though 3pm you will receive tokens, trade your tokens for prizes at the Main Street Office. Prizes will be a wide range of things from Candy to some really unique items. Feel free to combine tokens among friends to go for a bigger prize.

Line Obstacle Course (O)

10 am – 3 pm at St. Paul’s UCC. This unique activity for all ages. Compete against others the same age as you or compete against yourself. Run this event as many times as you want. All you have to do is follow the line. This event was a huge hit last year… We are already planning to add a few more twists to the craziness this year!

Sloppy Joes, chips, Popcorn, mac & cheese, Pop & water ($)

11:30am -3:00pm – St. Paul UCC –   This is a fundraiser to help support the youth’s activities. 

Teen Only Activities

FUN Room 

10 am – 3 pm at St. Paul UCC. The youth of the church are opening their youth room for pool, foosball, air hockey, & board games.
