Voters in the City of Saline will elect three members to city council and citizens in the Saline Area Schools district will decided the fate of a 20-year, $67.5 million bond issue on election day Tuesday.

Incumbent Linda Terhaar, Jack Ceo, Lee Bourgoin and Heidi McClelland are running for the three two-year seats available at the council table. The Saline Area Schools bond proposal, which would add 1 mill to a homeowner’s property tax bill, would raise money to secure school entrances, replace roofs and heating and cooling systems, technology and more.

The polls are open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. Voters are asked to bring picture ID, which includes a driver’s license or state-issued ID card, US passport, military ID with photo, student ID, tribal identification, or other government photo ID.
