Vehicle Break-Ins and Damage Investigated in Yorkshire Woods Sub

The Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office is warning the public to be on the lookout for suspicious activity after numerous break-ins to motor vehicles and damage to mailboxes in the York Woods subdivision in the early morning hours Nov. 30.

Police remind residents to remove valuables from vehicles and to lock vehicles.

The incidents remain under investigation.

According to the WCSCO release, a suspicious person wearning dark clothing was seen running from Yorkshire was seen running eastbound on Willis Road from Yorkshire Drive at approximately 3:55 a.m. Nov. 30.

Yorkshire Woods subdivision is south of Willis Road and west of Moon Road.
