Initiated by the City’s Arts & Culture Committee in the Spring of 2017 and welcomed by the Saline community, Art Around Saline installs reproductions of original artworks by area artists on building exteriors throughout downtown. For Art Around Saline 2019, the Committee is extremely pleased to have received well over 100 submissions. Preparations are now underway for the blind jury selection process.

In light of the wonderful response to its Call for Artists, the Committee is seeking additional sponsors to expand the number of artworks that can be chosen for display downtown. Sponsors can be individuals, businesses, or other organizations. Sponsorships help support the costs of production, installation, and maintenance of works, an honorarium for each artist, and other affiliated costs of the program.  The Committee is very grateful for several sponsorships already received.

Sponsorships are available in two categories:

Signature Sponsors: $1000

Signature Sponsors’ name or business name will appear on the plaque next to one of the selected works, on the maps showing locations of all the works, on any additional promotional materials the Arts and Culture Committee may develop, and on the Art Around Saline website’s list of sponsors.

Friends of Art Around Saline: $100 and up

Friends’ name or business name will appear on the Art Around Saline website’s list of sponsors.

Sponsorship donations received by the end of April can help expand this year’s selection of artworks. All donors will be named in the late spring announcement of this year’s selections.
