Silent Night: The Real(ish) Story, produced by the Saline Area Players, and written and directed by Kara Cardella runs this weekend only. Tickets are $5/person, a super deal for the whole family.
Tim Chanko plays Father Josef, the new priest who comes to the parish. He isn't exactly welcomed by all when he gets there. Plus, things go wrong, like the organ breaking. Yet, somehow Christmas happens and a new Christmas carol, Silent Night, is written - a gem amid the chaos. The play includes lots of humor, music, actors of all ages, audience participation, some hidden references to musical theater shows, and uplifting messages for the season.
Show Times are:
November 30 at 7:30 PM
December 1 at 7:30 PM
December 2 at 1:00 and 3:00 PM
December 3 at 3:00 PM
The show is performed at Fifth Corner, 211 Willis Rd., Saline. Seating is general admission. There are a few steps into the auditorium.
