The Saline Fiddlers Philharmonic, Saline's youth fiddle group, hit the road yesterday to start its Northern Lights tour.
The group left Saline shortly after 8 a.m. and crossed the Blue Water Bridge between Port Huron and Sarnia en route to Belleville, Ont., site of the their first show.
The band performed at the Lions Concert on the Bay in Belleville.
"The group put on an amazing show. It was great to see them come to our beautiful city on this tour," said Jeremy Davis, of Belleville's The Other Side Media Group.
After performing, the Fiddlers visited the Dairy Queen Grill and Chill in Belleville.
The Fiddlers continue their tour in Cornwall, Ont., today with a performance at Arts in the Park. Saturday, they traverse the border to play the Ticonderoga Summer Concert Series in New York.
They'll also visit Quebec City, Burlington, Vt., Schroon Lake, N.Y., and Erie, Penn.
