It's a Saline Christmas parade tradition that's almost anticipated almost as much as Santa's arrival.
Every year, the dancers from Dance Alliance Repertory Company perform at the end of the parade, right before the Saline Area Fire Department escorts Santa and his guest on a horse-drawn carriage.
This year, the dancers were dressed as toy soldiers, which is fitting, because the parade performance comes a week before the 20th annual Nutcracker. Performances are at 7 p.m., Dec. 9 and 3 p.m., Dec. 10 at Saline High School. Tickets are $13 and are available at Dance Alliance, Dancer's Boutique or at the box office before the show.
