Downtown Diner Stays Open Later to Serve Smoked Meats

Fresh off the success of its successful pasties, a new idea is cooking at the Saline Downtown Diner. Owner Jeff Tritton announced Thursday that the diner, at 131 E. Michigan Ave., will begin staying open into the evenings on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The diner wants to stay open later to serve the new barbecue smoked meats.

Reincarnations Resale Converting to Antique Mall and Consignment Shop

Reincarnations Resale, located at 109 E. Michigan Ave., is changing the formula. In a posting on Facebook, owner Michele Ingalls announced that she was opening the store's basement and reserving some of the first floor for antique booths. Dealers who wish wish to rent space can call 734-470-6480.ds Reincarnations will continue to take in consignment items.

Saline Main Street Moving to former Bling Thing Space

Saline Main Street is moving from its offices in a second floor suite at 101 S. Ann Arbor St. to a space between the Saline Downtown Diner and the back entrance to the Saline Area Chamber of Commerce. The roomier office will allow for meeting space and a higher profile downtown. The space was most recently used for storage for Anne Brandon's Bling Thing retail business.
