Sweet Leilani’s is leaving downtown Saline to move to Tecumseh.

Sheila Vish, owner of the quaint confectionery, told customers while announcing expanded products and classes on the business Facebook page.

“With this expansion comes a new home. While we are so excited about the new changes and good things to come we are sad to tell our Saline friends we are moving to a new location,” Vish wrote. “We want our amazing Saline friends and family to know how much enjoy being part of this wonderful town. You have treated us like family and we will always consider you part of our Ohana.”

Ohana is a Hawaiian word for family.

Sweet Leilani’s will open at 160 E. Chicago Blvd., in downtown Tecumseh, in the a former of the historic Tecumseh Train Depot.

“To have a building like this that can also fit our dessert ship is the icing on the cake,” Vish wrote.

Vish opened Sweet Leilani’s Desserts in the spring of 2017 at 103 N. Ann Arbor St.  Follow Sweet Leilani’s at https://www.facebook.com/SweetLeilanis.
