The Distinguished Young Women of Michigan Scholarship Program is now accepting applications for the upcoming scholarship program. The scholarship program promotes scholarships, leadership and talent and is open to high school junior young women graduating in 2018, with a 3.0 GPA and is a Michigan resident.  

Distinguished Young Women is a national scholarship program that inspires high school women to develop their full, individual potential through a fun, transformative experience that culminates in a celebratory showcase of their accomplishments. Distinguished Young Women strives to give every young woman the opportunity to further her education and prepare for a successful future.

This program awards college scholarships to young women who have distinguished themselves at school and in their communities, and will be held July 15, 2017 in the Saline/Ann Arbor area. Contestants will be judged based on academic achievement, talent, self expression, physical fitness, and interview. Last year over $8,000.00 in cash scholarship were awarded at the state program along with numerous college granted scholarships. 

An Informational Workshop for the Distinguished Young Women of Michigan Scholarship Program on Saturday, March 18th at 1 pm. At Point Counterpointe Dance Center in Garden City, located at 32807 Manor Park Drive. Interested high school junior young women and their parent are invited to attend and find out more about this scholarship program.
