Online Community @ The Saline Post for Week of Dec 17, 2017
As someone observed this past week, "Who ever said that Saline Planning Commission Meetings weren't interesting?"

The pendulum has swung back to feature articles for reader input this past week on The Saline Post.

Coverage of one issue in particular from the December 13 Saline Planning Commission agenda tops our list here.

"Saline Planners Deny Site Plan Extension for Long-Vacant Car Wash" drew six Comments.

This was followed by "City Council Votes 4-2 to Grant Purchase Agreement Extension for Hotel Development," at three, and "Marketing Saline: Circa 1931" at two. A couple of human interest stories made our weekly round-up here as well. These were "Local Business Welcomes New Owner, Sad to Say Goodbye to Previous Owner" and "Jarrod Hart Sworn In as Saline's Chief of Police."

On The Saline Post Forums, new topics appeared in "General discussion," "Cars," and "Saline History."

Additionally, the "Sports" sub-forum features a contribution from Tran Longmoore that's a bit different from what we normally see from his front page news coverage here. Check out "This Week In Hornet Country" for his detailed analysis of Saline basketball.

With that we're on to the last week of 2017 — and looking forward to growing reader input here.
