The Saline Twirlettes are again competing for a National Title at Notre Dame during  America Youth on Parade in South Bend, Ind.  America Youth on Parade is baton twirling’s most prestigious event of the year and it brings together the best baton twirlers, teams, and corps for national and the world open championship contests.

Saline's had a strong showing so far and has qualified for Friday's finals.

In 2018, the Saline Twirlettes Nationals team earned a National Championship in the Grand National Senior Small Show Corps with Props. This was their 19th national title and the first ever in this very difficult category. In 2018, the team swept all the specialty award categories and won the Grand National Overall Champion of Show Corps. A tremendous honor for the team and our whole community!

While the Saline Twirlettes earned the national title last year, this year is even more important because a national championship in 2019 will earn them a spot to compete on the World stage in the Netherlands, 2020.

The Saline Twirlettes are celebrating their 50th year. It is Saline’s longest running youth organization and has supported youth of all ages. Beyond twirling, team members are taught confidence, responsibility, and discipline.
