Did you feel the warmth of the Sun as you strolled around Saline Thursday?

Spring is in the air! Ah, but if you check the weather forecast, Mother Nature might just bring you back to Earth.

Still, that's no reason not to have a good time. And there's lots to do in Saline this weekend. Here's what we plucked from our free community calendar:

Ally's Pals Trivia Night

What: It's an evening of trivia, food and fun.
When:  6 p.m. Friday
Where:  Washtenaw Farm Council Grounds
Why:  All proceeds go to Ally's medical treatment. Ally Hennessey is a fourth grader at Heritage who is undergoing experimental treatment to reduce the size of an inoperable tumor that is robbing her of her eyesight.

Murder For Dummies

What: Saline Area Players present Murder For Dummies
When:  7:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday
Where: Fifth Corner Teen Center, 211 Willis Road.
Why:  A fast-paced comedic mystery where nothing seems to go right. A fun night out with friends and family.
Cost:  $16 for adults and $12 for children.

Fiber Expo

What: Just what it says. An expo for fiber.
When:  9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Sunday.
Where: Washtenaw Farm Council Grounds
Why:  A fiber fantasy - wool, alpaca, linen, cotton and more - from the plant or animal to the finished product.
Cost:   $4 for one day, $6 for two days. Children under 12 are free.

Craft and Outdoor Vendor's Market

What: The monthly craft and vendors market is back.
When:  10 a.m., Saturday.
Where: UAW Hall, 601 E. Woodland Drive.
Why:  Lots of vendors, crafters and creators. Prizes every 20 minutes.
Cost:   Free entry.

Saline Fiddlers Philharmonic with Kevin Burke

What: The Saline Fiddlers Philharmonic and acclaimed Irish fiddler Kevin Burke perform.
When:  7 p.m., Saturday
Where: Saline High School.
Why:  The annual hometown show is a celebration of music. Watch the talented kids, sing, dance and fiddler. Stick around for Kevin Burke, considered one of the world's finest Irish fiddlers.
Cost:   Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students.

Stand Up Comedian

What: Brady Keene performs comedy at Brewed Awakenings
When:  7 p.m., Saturday.
Where: Brewed Awakenings Cafe (Michigan and Moon)
Why:  Who doesn't love laughing?
Cost:   Free!
