Billy Brandt of The Sugarees is a mainstay of the Detroit music scene and one of Michigan’s most awarded songwriters His rootsy, folky and sometimes psychedelic brand of alt-country has been influenced by the likes of Gram Parsons and the Grateful Dead. The Lash:

Ain’t Far Left to Go:

Sun Go Down:

Beyond songwriting, Brandt's knack for surrounding himself with the region’s best backing artists sets him apart, and his Saline appearance will feature master guitar and mandolin picker Jason Dennie of Thunderwüde and John Holk of The Sequins on bass.
