A couple of weeks ago, I put an article on The Saline Post titled "Plow It Forward." It offered the idea of helping neighbors out with their snow removal at a time when we got the first surprise accumulations of the season.
A week later, all that snow was gone. Then just before Christmas a new storm came in, followed by another a day later. Welcome to winter in Michigan!
In addition to these "weather reports" you've already experienced for yourselves, I wanted to add this Forum thread to provide some updates on my article. Several times now when I've been out in town, people have mentioned the article and told me how it has changed things for them. In some cases, it was grateful recipients of neighbors who've helped them out with their snow removal needs. Other times, the feedback was from others who acted on the article to do good by shoveling for others. It made them happy to do so and I could see it on their face when they told me their stories. It made me happy, too.
Keep up the good work, Saline! Thanks!
