Just what is Alzheimer’s Disease? What is Dementia? What do we know about these diseases? What are the risks? How can we deal with these conditions?
This free one hour talk will discuss Alzheimer’s and dementia, what we know about what is happening in the brain, the risk factors, the value and process of getting an early diagnosis. The class will discuss how the disease progresses and the drugs available for it. There will be extensive information within the class material, and also as handouts, on where and how to get support and help in dealing with all aspects of living with dementia.
All are welcome. Holy Faith’s Social Hall has plenty of parking, no steps, wide doors, and plenty of seating.
