The Summer Music Series – a free, outdoor concert brought to you by Saline Main Street concludes this Thursday, August 23 at 7 pm. This week the series features Hullabaloo an Ann Arbor based music collective that produces original music influenced by ska, reggae and punk blended with Latin rhythms. Since 2000, the Hullabaloo experience has been an upbeat, semi-chaotic showcase of musical expression.
"Blending Afro-Caribbean rhythms and a swinging horn section with original punky ska rock, Hullabaloo really live up to their name, creating an outrageous uproar everywhere they go. With an almost Mothers-like approach, the band variously contains anywhere from six to eleven members. Either way, stripped down or stacked up, Hullabaloo is an upbeat, dance crazy, chaotic joy ride that is both catchy and weirdly experimental. Based out of Ann Arbor, Hullabaloo is well known and well respected and rightfully so."
This final Summer Music Series concert begins at 7 p.m. on North Ann Arbor Street in downtown Saline. The series is free to all guests and highlights a wide variety of cultured musicians.
In addition to the spectacular music, guests can enjoy downtown Saline’s favorite eateries and unique shops.
