The Saline Fiddlers Philharmonic are set to play Salty Summer Sounds in the heart of Downtown Saline for the fourth year in a row this Thursday, August 15th starting at 7pm.
Our hometown fiddler superstars have put Saline on the map in the music world. These musicians get people moving and grooving, with talent and mastery that astound audiences every time they take the stage! All the musicians are from Saline High School and present an energetic, polished show featuring a diverse range of music from American folk, fiddle bluegrass, jazz, western swing and Celtic traditions.
In addition to each student playing their own instrument, the group also features spirited vocals and Appalachian step dancing! The whole ensemble truly creates an unforgettable live performance.
The group travels all over the world to perform their music. This week we get to have them on the streets of Downtown Saline!
This week’s concert will be on North Ann Arbor St. because the annual kick-off to the Saline Area Schools fall sports season, the Fall Sports Pep Rally will take place at Henne Field with the Saline Marching Band starting at 5:45pm.
