The Summer Music Series – a free, outdoor concert series brought to you by Saline Main Street, continues on North Ann Arbor Street this Thursday, June 13th in Downtown Saline with Brother Crowe! Hailing from Detroit—and proud of it—Brother Crowe has hammered through over 100 shows in a year, sometimes playing three gigs in a day. But now is their time to shine. The band consists of two brothers, Derek (vocals/harmonica/bodhran) and Paul (guitars/banjo/vocals). Brother Crowe’s purpose, is honing in on a New Country/Indie Folk sound that still possesses a somewhat traditional Celtic style. Throughout the course of their musical union, the members of Brother Crowe have won over the hearts of music lovers from all walks of life. Performing at a variety of venues and making countless public appearances all the while recording new songs, this talented Country Celtic / Folk band has earned the admiration and affection of critics and fans alike.
The Concert is co-sponsored by the Saline Celtic Festival this Friday and Saturday at Mill Pond Park! Saline Celtic Festival is providing a Highland Game demonstration.
All Summer Music Series concerts are held in downtown Saline. The series is free to all guests and highlights a wide variety of cultured musicians!
In addition to the spectacular music, guests can enjoy downtown Saline’s favorite eateries and unique shops. The First Presbyterian Church will also have beverages (lemonade/ice tea/water) in their meditation garden located on Hall St. The goal of Summer Music Series is to bring people to our downtown, both from our local community and beyond. Feel free to bring your friends and enjoy a nice summer evening in downtown Saline! Kids activities will also be provided each week by Oakwood Church.
