Four candidates for Saline City Council will appear on the ballot in the Nov. 5, 2019 election.

Incumbent Jack Ceo will be joined on the ballot by Jim Dell'Orco, Brian Cassise and Kevin Camero-Sulak. Citizens of the City of Saline will elect three people to the council. The two-year terms will begin in 2020.

Incumbents Linda TerHaar and Heidi McClelland chose not to seek re-election.

Mayor Brian Marl will lead a city council with at least two new members when councillors take office in January.

Two Saline residents, Jeff Shier and Jeff Weiss, pulled nominating petitions but did not file them with the clerk's office ahead of Tuesday's deadline.

Citizens can still mount a write-in candidacy. They are required to file their intent with the clerk's office by 4 p.m., Oct. 25.
