City of Saline Announces Public Forums on November Street Millage

 09/11/2018 - 16:58

The City of Saline and Saline City Council announced three upcoming forums to discuss a local street millage that will appear on the November 2018 general election ballot.

“Council and staff look forward to engaging with our residents and business owners to discuss this important ballot proposal,” said Mayor Brian Marl. “Investing in our streets is of critical importance; we must make strategic investments in our infrastructure, and do so in a fiscally responsible way.”

Each forum will consist of presentations, a power point, and ample time for Q & A.

Support material will be provided, and light refreshments will be served. RSVPs are not necessary and all residents are welcome to attend.

The three forums will be:

  • Tuesday, September 18th Saline Senior Center – Craft Room 10 AM
  • Thursday, September 27th City Hall – Council Chambers 8 AM
  • Wednesday, October 3rd Saline District Library – Brecon Room 6 PM

If individuals have questions or concerns, they are welcome to contact the Mayor at briandmarl@gmail.com or (734) 272-3654, or City Manager Todd Campbell at tcampbell@cityofsaline.org.
