Musician Brad Phillips returns to his hometown of Saline for a rare solo performance at Salt Springs Brewery on from 7 to 10 p.m., Friday, July 28.
A 2016 inductee to the Saline High School Hall of Fame, Brad has gained notoriety as a multi-instrumentalist around the country, touring nationally and internationally with Emmy Award-winning actor/singer-songwriter Jeff Daniels, The Verve Pipe, Joshua Davis from NBC's The Voice, Celtic super-group Millish, among many others.
Holding both undergraduate and masters degrees from the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre & Dance, Brad got his start in the Saline Fiddlers Philharmonic, and later served as Assistant Artistic Director, and Artistic Director for the group. Now a resident artist at the Purple Rose Theatre Company in Chelsea, MI, Brad resides in Dexter, but Saline is always the place he calls home. Come enjoy an evening of stories from the road, and honest music from the heart on violin, mandolin, guitar and songs from Michigan and beyond.
Friday’s big event precedes a week worth of anniversary fun at Saline’s first microbrowery.
