Yesterdays storm was not kind to the Rec Center Aquatic Center. Gusty winds and heavy rain/hail caused electrical panels on the rooftop Dectron unit to fail. We have been informed that the Aquatic Center will be closed for 3-5 days. The storm yesterday burned out a motherboard on the dehumidification unit for the pool area. The part is being programmed and shipped to us as quickly as possible. We are so sorry for the inconvenience. Please call and listen to the recorded message before coming in to swim. The rest of the building remains open as usual.
