Saline Area Soccer Association (SASA) is accepting applications to coach boys and girls teams aged U8 to U19 for the 2013- 2014 travel season. These are paid positions open to all qualified persons including parents of SASA players. Coaches may possess a USSF “E” or higher coach’s license now, or be willing to obtain an “E” license during the 2013-2014 season.
The Saline boys swim and dive team is one very big step away from completing an historic four-year sweep.

The three-time defending state champs won their fourth straight SEC Red title Saturday at Saline School – and set a bunch of SEC and Saline High School pool records in the process. Saline finished with 591 points. Pioneer was second with 482 points. Huron (407), Skyline (362), Monroe (177) and Bedford (118) also competed in the conference meet.

Saline has officially been a Main Street community for a little over eight months! June 1 will mark our first anniversary.
So, why are we having our first-ever Annual Meeting on February 28th at Stone Arch? Two reasons – our fiscal year ends in December, and we can’t wait to celebrate our first calendar year as a Main Street community.

Bill Crim was active in many Saline community organizations over the past 50 years including the Vestry of Holy Faith Church, the Board of United Way of Saline, Saline Area Social Services, Boy Scouts, Saline Community Fair, Saline Rotary and Huron Valley Girl Scout Council.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Saline Area Schools for music education

Here it is February and the Saline Winter Farmers Market still has produce including potatoes, spinach, arugula, carrots, onions, cabbage, winter squash and even Jerusalem artichokes. Our baked goods are top quality and delicious. Our hand-crafted items are professional quality and the choices are unlimited. We have eggs, meat, coffee, honey, maple syrup, popcorn...and the list goes on and on.
There are so many things the entire family can do at the Rec Center. Let us show-off for you on Sunday, February 24th from 12-6 pm. We have 2 pools, a hot tub, family locker room, racquetball court, free-weight room, Nautilus-circut weight room, Cardio-weight room, aerobic fitness studio, birhtday party cabana, martial arts studio, a basketball/volleyball gymnasium and so much more.

The driver of the at-fault vehicle was pinned and unresponsive and taken to hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Pack your swim bag and grab your gym clothes, the Saline Rec Center is having a free open house Sunday, Feb. 24.
Guests will enjoy family swin with games, basketball, turbo kickboxing, water aerobics, and more. The open house is from noon to 6 p.m.
