Saline’s cross country teams received a boost from Dodge and LaFontaine Chrysler Dodge Jeep Monday.

As the teams held their annual run-a-thon at Saline Middle School, LaFontaine Chrysler Dodge Jeep held the Dodge Ride and Drive event. For every test drive, Dodge donated $20 to Saline’s cross country team. In all, the event was worth up to $5,000 for the teams. The final totals were unavailable.

Carl Spina, head coach of the boys’ team, called it an awesome show of support from LaFontaine.

Local small business owners or homeowners with a serious kitchen could find bargains at the sale.

Sophomore Jake Cohen scored a goal and an assist and Andrew Prince set up two goals with corner kicks.
