The City of Saline today announced a forum and luncheon for local small business owners, leaders, and potential entrepreneurs at the end of this month.
“The Saline Community is proud to host our 5th annual small business summit,” said Mayor Brian Marl. “It goes without saying, our entrepreneurs and small business operators have strengthened our City in innumerable ways. Accordingly, we are always eager to find new ways to support them and ensure our community remains an outstanding place to do business in.”
The forum will include a number of guest speakers. The city has extended invitations to the Small Business Development Center, the Small Business Administration of Michigan, Pure Michigan and SCORE. These guest speakers will be presenting resources available to small businesses in Saline.
“These networking lunches are great ways for businesses to learn about resources available to them,” said Saline Business Ambassador Mickie Jo Bennett, who is coordinating the event. “This is a great opportunity for businesses to meet and greet their neighbors, community leaders and to obtain valuable information for the success of their business here in Saline."
The forum will be held Friday, October 27 at 12 noon in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 100 North Harris Street. Interested parties should contact Kathy Corfman at (734) 944-4146 or [email protected]. Registration is free, but space is limited. The event is estimated to last no longer than 90 minutes.
