“As our community grows and we welcome new members into our community, we want to ensure they feel included in and represented by their local government. One of the ways we are expanding outreach to new and long-time Pittsfield Township residents is by asking them to fill out a volunteer form indicating their interest in one or more of Pittsfield’s Commissions and Committees. Our administration’s work is built on the foundation of a strong partnership with community members and we want to be sure to continually strengthen it,” noted Supervisor Mandy Grewal.
The volunteer interest form is now available on our website at www.pittsfield-mi.gov/supervisor and via social media through the township’s official Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram feeds.
Applications received by the township will be placed on file and retained for two years, and interested residents will be contacted when vacancies occur in areas that best align with their interests/qualifications.
Organized in 1834, Pittsfield Charter Township is bordered by the cities of Ann Arbor, Saline, and Ypsilanti in Washtenaw County. The Township is committed to building a community that supports healthy lifestyles and encourages social interaction.
