Saline City Council meets Wednesday night at city hall. The meeting was postponed from Monday due to a lack of quorum. Mayor Brian Marl and Councillors Jack Ceo and Linda TerHaar are in the United Kingdom visiting with friends from Brecon, Wales - which is one of Saline's sister cities. A fourth member of council, Christen Mitchell, was unable to attend Monday because her vehicle broke down near Traverse City Monday morning.
Council begins its meeting at 6 p.m. with a work session the budget. The regular meeting begins at 7 p.m. Council will discuss:
Approval of Saline Community Church's Party in the Park at Canterbury Park.
Approving a landscaping agreement with A&H Lawn Service for the planter boxes at the four corners.
Parking enforcement after a recent Michigan court ruling.
Water and sewer rates - which are scheduled to increase.
