We consider you part of the Saline Rec Center family and your safety remains our highest priority.  The Rec Center is here to serve the Community and in the midst of this Coronavirus outbreak, we want to assure you of our procedures we follow to keep our center clean and maintain a sanitary environment.

We are in close communication with the Washtenaw County Health Department who is closely monitoring the Coronavirus.  We will continue to follow their guidance and recommendations.    The City of Saline is a member of the National Safety Council that is also monitoring Coronavirus as it relates to employee safety.

The cleaning company who cleans the Rec Center every day (11am-2pm) and every evening after we close, have increased their cleaning protocols using products which have been found to be effective against viruses.

We need your help to keep our Rec Center safe and healthy.  We are asking you to:

  • Stay at home if you are sick
  • Wash your hands – scrub for at least 20 seconds. We have ample soap & water at every sink
  • Use hand sanitizers – we have lots of them located all over the building.
  • Feel free to bring your own personal hand sanitizer
  • Wipe down equipment (including hand weights, mats, kettle bells, cardio equipment, bars ect…) BEFORE and AFTER you use them
  • Keep germs out of the air by coughing or sneezing into your elbow (not your hand) OR, use a tissue and throw it into a trash receptacle.
  • Social Distancing – keep a 6’ distance between others
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth
  • Avoid drinking from drinking fountains –bring your refillable bottle
