A small sewage spill was cleaned up at the River Ridge community Wednesday morning in Saline Township.
About 50 to 70 gallons of untreated waste came from a manhole and spill on to a snowy area on the property, according to Alex Wagner of Infrastructure Alternatives, the company contracted to operate the wastewater system at River Ridge.
The spill occurred around 8:30 a.m., Wagner said. The issue was quickly resolved and the mess cleaned up, he said.
