There were no new  COVID-19 deaths or hospitalizations reported in data reported by the Washtenaw County Health Department Wednesday.

The number of deaths remains at 101, with three more deaths probably caused by COVID-19, health department officials believe. There have been 375 hospitalizations.

Of the 1,358 county residents with lab-confirmed cases, 1164 have recovered. The number of cases in Saline's 48176 zip code remains at 71.

There was a slight uptick in the number of confirmed cases on June 9, when five new cases were reported. It's only the second time since May 29 there have been five new cases reported.

At the peak in late March and early April, there were routinely 25 or more new cases reported each day.

Last week, county data showed one death and one hospitalization, the lowest figures since the onset of the pandemic.

The State of Michigan reported 13 new deaths, raising the total to 5,711.

The CDC reported 950 new deaths in America. 112,133 people have now died.
