CORONAVIRUS: No New Deaths, One New Hospitalization and 6 New Cases in Washtenaw Data

Another Washtenaw resident has been hospitalized with COVID-19, according to Washtenaw County Health Department data updated Thursday.

That makes four new hospitalizations added to the data this week - the most since the week starting May 30. On the other hand, it pales in comparison to the 88 hospitalizations recorded the week of April 4.

So far, 379 Washtenaw residents have been hospitalized with COVID-19.

The number of deaths was unchanged at 103.

Lab-confirmed cases rose by six to 1,431 while recoveries rose by five to 1,255.

The number of lab-confirmed cases in Saline's 48176 zip code remained at 73.

The State of Michigan reported 19 new deaths, the highest reported since June 4. COVID-19 has now claimed 5,887 Michigan residents.

The CDC reported 692 new deaths, taking the US total to 121,809.
