CORONAVIRUS: One Hospitalization, No Deaths Reported in Washtenaw County Over the Weekend

Recent COVID-19 numbers continue to be promising in Washtenaw County. According to data reported by the Washtenaw County Health Department Monday, there were no new deaths and one hospitalization since Friday.

COVID-19 has killed 101 Washtenaw residents according to the data. The number of hospitalizations stands at 376.

The number of lab-confirmed cases rose by eight to 1,378 while the number of recoveries jumped by 22 to 1,200.

There was one new lab-confirmed case in Saline's 48176 zipcode, bringing the total to 72.

At the peak of the pandemic in Washtenaw County, 88 people were hospitalized with COVID-19.  Over the last two weeks, there have been two hospitalizations.

The State of Michigan reported two new deaths, bringing the total to 5,772.

The CDC reported 373 new deaths, bringing the total to 115,644.
