CORONAVIRUS: One New Death, One Hospitalization Since Friday's Report

The Washtenaw County Health Department resumed local reporting of COVID-19 data Monday. The numbers showed one new death and one new hospitalization since Friday's data release.

To date there have been 101 COVID-19 deaths in the county and 374 hospitalizations. County health officials also say three additional deaths were probable cases of COVID-19.

There were three new lab-confirmed cases since Friday. So far, of 1,351 people with lab-confirmed cases, 1,132 have recovered.

Saline's 48176 zip code has had 71 lab-confirmed cases - a number that hasn't moved much in the last two weeks.

A review of last week's data shows one COVID-19 death - the lowest since the pandemic started killing people in late March.

There was also one hospitalization. The previous low was six.

The State of Michigan reported 17 deaths, bringing the total in 5,673.

The CDC reported 474 new deaths in America, as the total rose to 110,375
