Lawn Care Equipment Stolen from Front Yard in Saline Neighborhood

About $900 worth of lawn maintenance equipment was stolen from a home on the 600 block of Ironwood Way.

Staff from Colarossi Lawn Care were working at a home. The man left some equipment in the front yard while he mowed the backyard. When he returned, a Stihl weed whip and Stihl blower were stolen. Both pieces of equipment are orange. Several

The incident occurred June 9 around 9:40 a.m.

A grey Ford ranger and white Ford minivan were seen in the neighborhood. Police believe they were looking for scrap on garbage day.

A few days after the incident, the same man from the lawncare company called police stating a white Ford minivan had pulled up to a home on Hawthorne Way and asked the homeowner if he was getting rid of lawn mower.

License Plate Stolen

A license plate was taken from a semi truck parked at local book manufacturer McNaughton and Gunn. The incident occurred between June 23-26.
